Dinosaur Album No.2

My gransdson loves dinosaurs. He was recently taken to a wonderful dinosaur exhibition so I thought I'd use my remaining Tropical Escapes DSP to make him a mini album to remember the day. (See my previous blog for the Dinosaur book I made him.)

The 6x6 DSP was the ideal size for a album that contains photos of a very enjoyable day. 

The Tropical Escapes DSP pack has been great value. I have made a book, a mini album and I have enough paper left to make a dinosuar spread in his Memories & More 2018 Photo Album.

Tropical Escape Dinosaur Album

My grandson is fascinated by dinosaurs. He's only 3 but knows the names of many dinosaurs. When I saw the Tropical Escapes DSP in the new catalogue, I thought I'd make him a dinosaur mini album.

The DSP comes in a 6x6 inch pack so I made the album that size. It has 12 pages and came together very quickly. I decorated the pages using the Pretty Pines and  Flourish thinlits as well as the Botanic Builder thinlits from a previous catalogue.  He was delighted with his album.

Happy Father's Day

It's Father's Day this weekend and this is the card I made for my Dad. I was inspired by a card made by Rochelle Blok The Stamping Blok. 

Very pleased with the result - hope Dad is impressed too.

Tutti-Frtti Notebooks

I've been using the new Tutti-Frutti DSP from Stampin Up's 2018 Occasions Catalogue. The sheets have cute images and vivid colours which I thought were great for these small A5 notebooks. These notebooks show just some of the wonderful designs in this suite. They're fun and easy to make. too!

Gold Traveller's Notebook

I've used Stampin'Up's gorgeous Year of Cheer designer series paper to make the cover of a traveller's notebook. These handy little books seem to be all the rage at the moment. The cover is decorated with a gold foil snowflake and a gold embellishment both of which belong to the Year of Cheer suite.

The book contains three signatures which can be removed and replaced with new pages - just cut an A4 sheet in two, fold in half and slip under the elastic.  They are an ideal size for slipping into your handbag.

Origami Christmas Tree Ornament

This is a gorgeous Christmas tree ornament that uses no adhesive. I got the idea from The Paper Pixie, Julia DiMatteo, who has made an easy to follow tutorial. You can find her blog here

Christmas Cards using Year of Cheer

Another 2 cards made using the Year of Cheer products - designer series paper, washi tape and stamp set. I've made 2 each of these. Along with the card I showed in my previous blog, these 5 cards and their envelopes will be placed into one of Stampin' Up's new acetate boxes.
